Power tools are part of our daily life. When needed to screw for picture frame, we used them. It is also a good investment, it will last a long period if you used them properly and take care but it cost expensive. And it is one of the reasons why we want them to live for a long time.

Below are some of the tools needed to take care more

Electric Hand Drill
- Electric Hand drills are mostly overworked among others power tools. Since, they use most of the time, maintenance is important. It is needed to be sharp every use to make them more efficient to use. When using them, for long periods of time, let your tool a break, to avoid overheating. Also, mind its motor. Make sure that it is dust free. Use a toothbrush or a blower to clean it.

Cordless Tools
- Cordless power tools are convenient to use, it is ready to use if you needed them. But you need to take care the battery. Charge when it started to slow down, but avoid to overcharge. You don’t want to change its battery always. Also, apply here the electric hand drill maintenance.

Sander
- Sander can be overheat and make it don’t work, if you would not take care it well. Clean its fan regularly by removing the dust. When cleaning it, make sure the sandpaper is aligned properly.

Drill Press
- Your drill press may contain stained which are you wanting to avoid. One practice you need to do is, apply a paste wax to all the metal areas. Also, if you use this often, check its front bearing and motor oil cups to avoid problems and a headache.

Saber Saw and Jig Saw
- Saws need to be sharp when using them. Sharpen its blade when you notice something is wrong. Used high speed for soft mediums and low speed for hard mediums but before engaging it to the object make sure it reaches the high speed they needed. Since its blade is sharp, make a habit to unplug after using and clean it.

Store your power tools on dry Place. Moistures may result corrosion on the metal of a power tool. Make sure you store them away from excessive heat and cold.
