In a private hospital in Brisbane where their receiving area was needed to be renovated. Demolition of the area was applied which causing excessive dust which will be disturbing on the patients and workers. The area of renovation is located in accident and emergency trauma area which needed to be functional 24/7. In able to avoid disturbance and protect their patients and clinical workers, even the construction workers, they implemented dust control systems that filtrate dust particles into healthy clean air.
Dust particles like silica that cause silicosis, a long-term lung disease that can get if you inhale too much of it. In able to prevent any health problems, hazard control is always present in any construction project.
